Hi! I’m Connor, and I help brands with effective communication and marketing strategy.
My passion is helping companies elevate their business model by focusing on sustainability initiatives, and diversity and inclusion. My interest in advocacy has created a lasting impact on brand awareness among fast-paced companies. During my latest experience at TikTok, I advocated for an expanded community-based moderating system, more DEI town halls for creators, as well as a DEI program for over 300 TikTok Creators.
One thing that marks my passion for service is being involved. I live by the motto, “Be present, be observant, be available.” I am leadership-oriented and have a natural ability to connect with people in fast and constantly changing environments. My background as a dog handler, camp counselor, and other volunteer positions has equipped me with a diverse interpersonal skillset, including assisting teams, project management, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Coming from a homeschool background, my transition to college wasn’t easy. I also have ADHD which makes me procrastinate and struggle focusing. I want people to know they aren’t alone. Because school isn’t just about studying: it’s about finding our identity, maturing into adults, and making huge life and career-impacting decisions. I hope to provide resources for high school and college students that empower them and affirm them.
Money is also a huge factor that I take into account with my audience. I come from a family with a disabled father, so I understand some of the financial sacrifices people need to make to afford college. I try to create educational content that teaches financial literacy and responsibility. That’s also why I started working with the Creative Studios at Bold.org, where I create develop marketing materials, including interactive financial resources for students, high-converting videos, presentations, and more. Their mission of eliminating student debt for people of all backgrounds is really cool. They never try to sell a product, and they make the process super smooth and transparent.
